The portal in 60 seconds

What it is
Our online case portal. Practices send the Rx and scans, follow each case through the lab, and get design files, tracking and invoices in one place.
Who it's for
Every practice that sends us work, whether you scan digitally or still take impressions. Dentists and front-office staff each get their own login.
What it costs
Nothing. There's no software to buy and no contract.
What changes on day one
No handwritten lab slips, no calls to check on a case, and a FedEx label printed from the case whenever you send something physical.

Five calls you won't have to make

“Did they get the scan?”

Always connected

Your Rx, scans, photos and notes go on the case, and our design files and questions go on the same case. You see what we upload, we see what you upload, the moment it's added. Nothing is retyped, so nothing is lost in translation.

“Who's filling out the lab slip?”

No slips, no labels to write

The Rx is filled in on screen: tooth chart, material, shade, notes. Saved templates cover the cases you send every week, and Rx details can be read straight from iTero, 3Shape, Medit and DS Core exports.

“Is it going to make the seat date?”

Know where every case is

Each case shows where it is in the lab, from received through design, milling, quality check and shipping, with an email as it moves. If we need something, you'll see it on the case right away.

“Can someone call FedEx?”

Ship to us from the case

Sending an impression or models? Print a FedEx label from the case in one click. It carries the case number only, never the patient's name.

“Has it shipped yet?”

Tracking the moment it ships

When we print the outbound label, the tracking number appears on the case and arrives by email. The case marks itself delivered when FedEx does.

Walk through a case

From a new Rx to a delivered crown, this is what you do and what you see.

Sending a case

About as long as a phone call to the lab, without the hold music.

  1. Start a new case

Log in and choose New case. A saved template fills in your usual setup, or drop in your scanner's export and the Rx details come in with it.

  2. Fill out the Rx on screen

Tap the teeth on the chart, then pick material and shade and add notes. Nothing handwritten and nothing to print.

  3. Attach scans and photos

Drag in STL, PLY, OBJ or DCM files. Large full-arch scans are fine. As soon as the upload finishes, we can see it too.

  4. Sending something physical? Print the label

One click prints a FedEx label for this case. The case number on the label ties the box to the case, so there's no slip in the box.

  5. Submit

We're notified right away, and the case shows as Received once we've checked it in.

While we work

You don't have to call to find out where it is.

  1. Follow it live

The case moves through Received, In design, Fabrication, Quality check and Packaged, and you get an email as it goes. You'll know about a seat-date problem while there's still time to act.

  2. See the design files

When a design is finished, the files go up on the case and you can open them in the portal: the same files our technicians are working from.

  3. If we need something, it's on the case

A new scan, impression, bite or photos, with the reason. Send it, or tell us to go ahead as is. Notes go both ways on the same case.

Getting it back

The paperwork is done before the box arrives.

  1. Tracking in hand

The moment we print the label, the FedEx tracking number shows on the case and lands in your inbox.

  2. Delivered, invoice already there

The case changes to Delivered on its own. The invoice is on the case and on your monthly statement, and you can pay online.

Questions

Anything else? Call (714) 893-0129 or send us a message.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The portal runs in any current web browser on a computer or tablet.

Which scanners work?

Any scanner that exports STL, PLY, OBJ or DCM files. Rx details can also be read from iTero, 3Shape, Medit and DS Core exports, so you don't type them twice.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The portal is free for every practice that sends us cases.

Can I still send physical impressions?

Yes. Fill out the Rx online the same way, print the FedEx label from the case, and send the impression in.

What's on the shipping label?

The case number only. Patient names never go on our labels.

Can more than one person in my office use it?

Yes. Tell us who needs access and we'll set each person up with their own login.

Will I get emails, or do I have to check the portal?

Both work. We email as the case moves, when we need something from you, and when it ships with tracking. Everything is also on the case.

What if I forget a file or need to change something?

Add files or a note to the case after you submit. We see it right away.

Can I still call the lab?

Of course. The portal saves you calls; it doesn't replace us. (714) 893-0129.

How do I get access?

Request access with your practice details. Once we approve it, you can send a case the same day.
